our first pickling endeavor
bloody red dripping beets, spicy, sweet.
im excited to pour hot vinegar and put jars in boiling water and wait for weeks for flavors to complicate inside those jars.
it begins! this weekend...

Welcome!
the pickle project:
12 months, 12 pickles.
we will:
-find the tastiest pickled concoctions from across the globe (and maybe time).
-concoct these pickles, using ingredients including but not limited to vegetables, fruits, vinegars, spices (Kristina is in SF, Shilpi is in DC, and we will stop at nothing to track down said ingredients)
-consume pickles, with or without various other foods
-follow tangents inspired by the pickles, including but not limited to historical context, cultural context, imagined contexts

document everything pickle related on this blog
